Joy of Nightlights

No city lights for us. We love the nightlights of the farm. Have you been to visit Yesterland Farm After Dark? It’s a different world after the sun sets. Come to visit us … you’ll be charmed by the moonlight.

Dark n’ Spooky

Did you get a chance to explore the Creepy Corn Maze in the dark this year? What did you think? Did you encounter things that go bump in the night?

Pigging Out

Isn’t Porky’s the cutest? This is where we are serving up Kettle Corn and Pork Rinds … not to be confused with the Hog Wild Grill that’s carefully guarded by this big fella!

Mississippi Mud … ?

The moment you have all been waiting for has arrived! It’s time to unveil the Mississippi Mud cake recipe! And for a girl who enjoyed making a lot of mud pies in her youth to bake on the air conditioning unit, let me assure you this is not my recipe.

I have to admit that for all my life I thought that this was my Aunt Evelyn’s recipe because she made it for us every time we came to visit her in Louisiana. I spoke with her daughter, my cousin Kathy, and she said that my cousin Larry’s wife Susie brought it to a family reunion and that is where they got the recipe. So, thankfully it is still a family recipe. Here it is, straight from my cousin (a very reliable source). [click to continue…]

Santa Claus is Comin’ Ta Town

santa_girlsHe’s makin’ a list and checkin’ it twice. So have you been naughty or nice?

Santa visits YesterLand Farm from 11:00 to 5:00pm November 27-29, December 5-6 and 12-13 during our 2015 Christmas PlayLand season. He promises to come rain or shine on these designated days. He has non-refundable sleigh tickets.

Santa Photo Pricing and Options

We have two options to suit your fancy. Take a CD home with your Santa photos and use them on your Christmas cards, post them on social media, email them to friends and family, print them at home or at a shop of your choice – as many and much as you like. Or have us print them for you so you can hand one straight to Grandma and place one in a frame on your mantle when you get home.

CD with one pose is $18. Each additional pose is $5.
Printed Photo Sheet is $18. Each additional sheet is $10.

Photo Sheet consists of your choice of 1-8″x10″, 2-5″x7″ or 2-4″x6″. One pose per sheet.

No personal camera are allowed in the Santa photo area. They scare Santa. However, we have tons of wonderful photo props around the farm for you to enjoy.

Has this question been nagging you? Does Santa do laundry? Now you know!

Yep, it’s corn!

That little sprout and his friends behind him are gonna be this year’s corn maze! Hard to believe that soon these little sprouts will be super tall enough for folks to get lost in them!
