Educational School Field Trips

We offer three very popular educational field trip experiences at our nostalgic farm. All field trips operate similarly with two format options per season. Both options require online reservations.

Structured, rotation style field trips are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Your class will have their own private tour, as you rotate around the farm with a new station or activity every 10-12 minutes. Bring your sack lunches to be eaten after all rotations are completed. The minimum number for a field trip group is 15 paid people.

Freedom Fridays are new this year! Each class moves around the farm together enjoying the farm as a group on a free flow basis without a strict order of activities. Pick and choose from a designated list of activities that will best suit your class age group. Lunch times and locations are designated to make sure everyone receives a seat. Then go back to enjoy more of the farm fun activities until 1:30pm when the gates close. Freedom Fridays are the only days available for Homeschool groups.

Learning is fun at YesterLand Farm!

Some of the stations your class may experience (depending on the age) are the nostalgic rides in YesterLand Farm’s Amazement Park — the YesterLand Express train or Santa’s Runaway Sleigh roller coaster. Other activities may include a wagon train ride, or visiting an authentic tipi for education time! See and learn about farm animals or have a marshmallow roast. This is a hands-on learning experience on a real working farm. Teachers love these field trips because they are clean, organized and safe. And remember … we’re just a short country drive away from Dallas and Tyler, Texas!
